I'd have to say your turnbuckles (upper tie rods) are about 100% too long... that and the spiderman stuff.

Even if the upper arms were completely unattached, that's as straight as the axle will get. It will not come up any more, the drive shafts are pushed in all of the way.

That won't fix it. The axles will not go up high enough to be straight. As if the lower arms are too short or the drive shafts are too long.

Are the driveshafts the extra longs meant for use with the extra long lower arms?

They are not suppose to be. I can tell you for sure that they are the same length as the stock dogbones. I had the same issue with the stock diff and stock dogbones. I was told that upgrading to elcon diff and elcon ball drive setup would fix this problem.

RE: My turn, my turn.
I think RC Nut is right on this. Certainly I usually defer to his judgement because he has sold these vehicles for several years now and is usually spot-on with advice.
Just looking at it if you use a real short turnbuckle on the upper arm it will pull the hub closer.
If you take off the upper arm completely (or detach the outer side and swing it out of the way) and straighten up the hub what happens to the axle? Is the axle then too long to allow the hub to be straight?

It cannot pull the hub closer the drive shafts are pushed in all of the way already. And I do not have full use of my shocks because the arm will not swing high enough. It just puts stress on the ball drive shafts/axles/diff cups.

Well, I don't know. I bought them from largescalerc.com and they don't have numbers on their website. Their description reads: This is the Adjustable Alloy Rear Lower Right Arm. Fits all FG Modelsport Vehicles On-Road and Off-Road.
So what is the difference between these item numbers that you have found? Where did you find them?

I just dug up the cardboard from the packaging. They don't have numbers either. One just says right and other says left.

Compare the new arms to the old ones for length differences. Perhaps they are Marder arms.

They are the same length, the difference is the pivot point. I didn't know Marders had shorter arms.

you need CNR 6072/L and 6072/R.
the 7072 are for sedans.

It looks like you have the onroad rear arms on your truck. If I remember correctly the rear lower arms on the on-roads are shorter than the offroads. If you dog bones are touching end to end in the pictures, you definately have the wrong lower arms on your truck.

All the off-roads are pretty much the same from the gas tank back with the exception of shocks, and some body mounts. Rear suspension is identical except the leopard has different rear uprights.
