It's powered by twin 6c lipos. They are 22.2 volts each & run through a "y" harness for longer run time. It's a beast. The torque is more than anything I've seen. Sounds very funny hearing the clutch grab the bell taking off. I'll attempt to get a few more videos up this weekend. Still the only videos are of the frist tests with it. More to come ...

HA ! good video, power seems really high, and the torque to the rear wheels is nice. I also agree that the rear wheels may not be able to handle that kind of power with a standard square wheel hub and dual locking grub screw set up on the shaft. Perhaps some sort of hex shaft mount and locking rim?
the wheel flying off was awesome hilarity

It did twist the square drive out. The torque is amazing. We got some good washers & a good lock nut to hold them very tight. We ran several passes on pavement following this with no wheel incidents. It would do doughnuts on pavement pretty much at will ! We adjusted the controller & now it's way better. Just need to get time for more testing.
Here is a demo run of the Blue Monster truck in the begining pictures. It's also a blast in snow.

No Sorry man they are custom sewn shirts. I wish I had some too !! Here is another link to the brushless set-up in action. Amazing the way it comes alive so fast. More testing to do & we'll see what happens price wise. This looks like the best quality set-up at least motor & control wise. Batteries remain to be seen. We'll let you know on that too.

those LiPosand the 8 H.P. motor are no joke. from a rough guess I'd say that Electric setup takes off like a bat out-a u-no-where but only runs topped out for about 15min? that about right? i'm still waiting for the 2008 revision of the MCD Rally Cassis to come out with all the new suspensioncomponents, and sway bars that are rumored to come stock, then I'll be in touch with LargeScaleRC.
AWD = power down on all four <-- that's the way to be.
