Default Digital Servo Question

I am looking for a set of Digital servos for my 1/5 FG GT car. I have a 3PK with the FASTT system and a 3300mAh Venom battery pack. I have heard that some of the Hitec servos have been failing quite often on some drivers.
I was thinking of this combinations:

Option 1:
Steering Servo: Futaba S5050 Servo Digital High-Torque 1/4 Scale (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXBJA7&P=ML)
Brake/Throttle: Futaba S3050 Servo Digital Standard High Torque BB MG (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXFKZ7&P=ML)

Option 2:
Steering Servo: Hitec HS-5745MG Giant Scale 3BB Servo U (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXGZT9&P=ML)
Brake/Throttle: Hitec HS-5985MG High Torque Metal Gear Digital BB Servo (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXMYH7&P=ML)

What do you guys think???
Thanks
LRR

Hitec HS-5745MG=Problem Child. Some have had luck with it, some have not, I had 2 of them fail without ever driving the car, people claim it's the EPA needs to be lowered, doesn't matter how low it is they've still failed. Took Hitec over 3 months to send replacements only to have the same issue. I'd want a metal geared steering servo. I think the futaba 5050 is same as the hpi 1/4 servo so the metal gear upgrade works in it. I'd go with option 1.

Luis, the 5745 servos are hit or miss, like badz said. You can get one and never have a problem, or have one fry as soon as you power it up. It is a great servo though. I have one in my sportline, and had one in my comp. car and never had a problem with either one. I took the one out of the comp. car and installed 2 Hitec 5955's. They're standard size, but they have 333oz of torque at a speed of .15 sec. Oh, and titanium gears too!! I've had them in for about a month and they work great. Get whatever servo you like and just make sure you have your EPA set properly and the servo should be very happy.

Anything above 250 oz will be fine. I reccomend the titanium gear servos from Hitec. I use them for steering, throttle and brakes at both ends and they're awesome.

I'd suggest setting your end points to 95% on your radio before ever turning your receiver on...
