Default Marder to Baja 5b

Hi all,

Was just wondering how many people had actually ditched their FG's in favour or the HPI Baja, i've read lots of threads about who thinks which is best but would like to hear from anyone who has specifically gone the HPI route after running a FG.

Martin.

I went from a Firehammer buggy to the Baja.

The Baja seems to be "the" gasser to have nowadays.
I have a FG Leopard Race and a Baja 5B, the other is my friends FH.
Either way, its a win win situation. They are both great gassers.
It all comes down to what you want and how much you want to spend.

I don't have either, but to me, they seem like two completely different beasts.

I just about to get my first gasser, im going for the Marder manly due to its history and the price. If I had more money id go for the Baja once it gets the 26cc in it, plus the Baja does look alot more modern and sexy compared to the dating Marder.

That doesn't make any sense. How much are you going to save by getting the Marder? If you think the Baja looks better, then get the Baja. You will kick yourself forever.... Trust your instincts............ FOLLOW YOUR NOSE, IT ALWAYS KNOWS.

I enter into largescale a year ago with the FG MT.A couple of months later i found myself steering a brand new Baja 5.Now i'm negotiating the price for a used Marder race and/or Leopard race.My point,as long as it is a GASSER,the fun and joy is guaranteed mate
I have to come to my senses though.I do really have to take it easy before my passion for gassers suck up my bank account []

Okay, but if you're thinking about the price difference, just keep in mind that once you get hooked on large scale gassers, you'll be owning a Baja 5b also, anyway.[sm=shades_smile.gif]
