Default Videos?

Are there any videos of organized 1/5 scale off-road racing or is this such a new realm?

Try these:

Germany:

http://www.rc-xtreme.de/goodies/gale...gelberg_07.wmv (26.8mb file)

UK:

France:

http://www.elcon-models.nl/pics/Video/CAMSE.wmv (40mb file)

Spain:

http://www.elcon-models.com/pics/Vid...Salou_2007.wmv (40mb file)

Off-road racing is well established here in europe and the cars are raced at club, national and international level.

Good luck with the new track.

Damn, nice track. Needs jumps! LOL Something about us Americans and not being able to keep things with four wheels on the ground.

LOL, yeah. Just nail the throttle and that should upright itself!

Would you happen to have any links to written track rules that you guys follow for 1/5 scale off road racing? We only have OnRoad stuff through ROAR over here.

I would have recommended the following link to the home of largescale off-road racing in the UK (http://www.largescaleoffroad.co.uk/) but the website site is down at the moment and has been for over a week.

The off-road rules can be found on pages 94, 95 and 96 of the BRCA handbook (http://www.brca.org/BRCA/library/BRC...05%20pages.pdf). They have since been updated to allow for 4WD cars and for this year the HPI Baja as I believe it has a slightly longer wheelbase than most european cars and would not have been eligible to race.

The amendments to the rules can be found in the 2006 and 2007 handbooks (http://www.brca.org/BRCA/library/BRC...ook%202006.pdf and http://www.brca.org/BRCA/library/BRC...07%20proof.pdf)
