My wife just orderd me a 5bSS kit for X-mas
I have put may kits together before, but nothing close to this big. Any pointers from any one with experience in building this behemoth? Its getting wrapped and put under the tree when it gets here but I want to be prepared
Thanks,
Rafael

I've taken apart and put together a few Bajas, theyre not complicated at all. Chances are HPI will include excellent directions. In my experience most Tamiya models have more parts and can be more confusing than the Baja - and even theyre not very hard.
You should have no problem with it at all.
And you are one very lucky man, I'm not married but from what I've seen here RCs and wives dont tend to get along

It should be a straight foward build, remember if you get stuck there are many people here to help you out any way we can!
Ps... I'm also lucky my wife supports not only this hobby, but also my full size racing hobby!

I've almost finished mine, it's a great kit, just follow the instructions, and open each of the lettered bags (A to N) when the instructions say to. Each bag contains the hardware for the next few steps of the instructions.
