Hi i have one of these, i got it not long ago so far i have just run the engine in a bit so i cant really do a proper review. But it seems strong enought and the only part that broke so far was a body mount that sticks up out the shell i jumped it, it rolled in to my house and the mount took all the impact, so no surprice it broke, but it doesnt matter to much the shell stays on fine as theres still 3. Spares are easy to get nitrotec sell them, theres some one on ebay and another place ill try find it later i think it howesmodles or something. Look on ebay for one they have them for £299 with a slightly different shell choice and there in stock with next day delivery (£15). For the price you couldnt get better, theres also a knock off of the baja 5b looks just like it and all parts fit its like £299 on ebay search baja 5x and take a look i dont know what the quailty of that would be like but im imformed all hpi parts fit it, so no worrys on spares.

the baja im talking about is a total copy it looks the same you cant tell apart. I think your thinking of the XRC ones or what ever there called.

i was just wondering because the Shengqi can reach 80kph stock, apparently.
but what about the baja. And also would the baja be bad for jumping because i would want to bash
a fair bit with it.

I dont think it would go 80kph stock, that would be faster than all the other off road large scalers the hpi baja does 61kph according to hpi so the rip off might do similar. I think the baja can jump look at some of the videos on youtube. But if you local model store has spares for the shengqi go for that i spose instead of the knock off baja.
