good thing about the FS cars, is if you do break something genuine MCD parts do fit them.

Maybe wait just a little longer. FS is coming out with an updated version of the truck with a 35cc motor!?!?

At first the body looked okay, but I think it's from a 1/5 scale toy hummer! Sure the detail is nice (side mirrors, front push bar, wipers, luggage rack) all of which is destroyed the first time you use it, lol. I don't even see mounting posts, using velco???

I too am interested in as much information as possible, they look great for the price. Might be something fun to bash up. If that really is a 1/4 hummer I may just have to get it lol. It's strange though, the body seems like its hardened plastic or something.

eh, it's a typo, has to be. For one, it looks exactly the same as the 1/5 scale cars, at least, the little bit you can see under the body. Also, the body looks identical to the New Bright Hummers, which are only 1/5. Granted, I could certainly be wrong, just would be very surprised if a company restarted the 1/4 scale offroad scene.

RE: Fs truck Or MCD clone ?
I have a 4WD truck the problem is the wheels are not up for the abuse the hub is not strong enough and not before long the snap off this wheel wooble may give the impression that the real wheels are steering but there not. This issue has been fixed with a new mould which is much better there will be alot out there with the first revision wheels tho so beware!!!

RE: Fs truck Or MCD clone ?
Hi guys,
Just to lets use know ive posted the first half off my video on YOUTUBE for the world to see (had to split it into 2 4min sections) we have 2 trucks and 1 buggy out none of them go home complete but thats half the fun abusing them then repairing them The second video will be up soon which is even better as my made has a serious crash with the truck. It actually only broke the throttle servo which is cheap GWS one anyway so they are tuff these are the MCD clones by the way not the real Macoy.
Hope you enjoy watching as much as we did making it javascript:void(AddText(' ',''))

Some nice vids. It seems like these MCD clones can really take some beating.
Better electronics and wheels and tires and they seem good to go.

RE: Fs truck Or MCD clone ?
Hello all i had my fs kingkong for about a month and it is great have not broken anything yet. I love it and for the price it was a great deal. I can't wait to get together with my buddy and some other guys when the weather gets better. I still play with mine i just try not to hit anything lol. It has a lot of power and handles pretty good for a big truck. Anyone who has a 1/5 have fun and throw a lot of dirt lol !!!!!

RE: Fs truck Or MCD clone ?
The Fs racing 30cc engine is not even a 30cc engine, at least reported otherwise in many other treads. I have an FS racing MT, the truck is great, but the engine is trash. I went through one spark plug per tank. Changed to a CY 29cc engine, over 1 tank and still the original plug. Radio systems are usless. Got the RCkillswitch in mine now. Peace of mind.

RE: Fs truck Or MCD clone ?
I own every vehicle mentioned in this thread.
Smartech Titan has a 3 bolt head..you can not purchase any head kit and use it..... it wont work
FS vehicles are ok.....the first thing to go will be your bearings and shock forks
Redcats have a few weak areas also but the support of the aftermarket companies that support the baja are a big plus.....lots of parts and support
