Default solid axle and transfercase ideas

Just wondering if anyone has any design ideas they would like to share? I don't currently own a large scale so just wondering what to use for gears in a axle? Or any donor parts that could be made to work. I just want to build a 4x4 truck with solid axles for an all around use.

Thanx in advance DUST

take a look at NEW ERA models, or on Quarter Scale Beretta's page. there is some mock ups and designs there for Clodbusters, and larger scale solida axle skellenger style difs.

Keeney, he said he was looking to BUILD a truck, not buy one.

New Era is a good referance point.

YES,,New Era Models is a good starting point, they no longer sell 1/4 scale but they do sell other scales. I am in the process now designing & machining a few types of 1/4 scale rear ends,

Quickchange
Non Quickchange
Ford 9 in
Sheetmetal drag type
Custom belt drive

I have some info on these on my site if you would like to check it out www.quarterscaleberetta.com
