I have seen these tires in sand and snow. Very good grip! Impressive for sure.

hostile makes damn fine tires for the baja5b , i wouldnt buy those new style tires , i would keep getting the large knobby tires , but i guess these new tires makes it for better racing , and depends on what purpose your buying them for i guess . is that heat shrink on your shocks ? looks like it, do they still compress alright with the heat shrink on the springs

Allegedly, the smaller pins make even more grip on clay type and loose tracks, there's a vid on hostile's youtube space of a sick fast baja doing an oval with the new mini pins. Certainly looked planted. I'm beginning to think that I need both sets.

with the new style block tire from hostile they should make the blocks taller , they are too short and would wear out in no time .

even with the large knobby tires they should make the knobbs taller than what they are or even make the sqaure block bigger and taller the same kind of tire you get on a yamaha yz400R dirt trail bike , ill take a pic of this tyre im talking about and youll see what i mean , hmm i dont know maybe hostile make the tires like that so the blocks wear out faster so we'll be back buying more tires lol , the blocks are too short to begin with and its just common sense that they wont last long , thats why i would still rather get the original hostile knobbys that they made first

Some track are requiring that you use a smaller "block style" pattern and these are stiffer then you think.....Don't judge something till you try it

i know i'm just waiting for the original mx ones to come back, they had some nice big knobbies. i don't race, so that's not a problem. i'm sure they would give the most traction. i have the badlands and i still get crazy wheel spin

Dude the knobs on the MX's are big enough, remember these aren't full sized dirt bikes we are running and bigger knobs don't necessarily mean better traction. The smaller pinned Hostiles should be good, right now my badlands are all over my MX's for traction on everything but grass, that will likely change when i get my hands on a set of the new Hostiles, although I'm expecting similar performance as they are very similar tread patterns.

You can't have too many tyre shoices though

yeah i know what your saying , but when i heard hostile was making a new tread pattern i didnt think it was going to resemble the hpi dirtbusters lol , i thought he was going to to keep making the knobby mx style but with a differant pattern like in the pic i just posted lol , that what i was hoping for .
