use tie wraps to keep em in place, i teared up a few before i realised that, small tie wraps works best at least on the shaft..
use them on your center carriers too..

Question, Why are you guys making them vs. buying the FS clear sheilds?? Is it the cost, quality or the fact that the stock covers don't keep enough crap out??

the stock plastic ones are poor quality and they crack at the mounting points, besides why buy it when ya can make it..
the MCD sidecovers look real nice, and they are made from lexan so they should hold up good, im gonna get a MCD mt body and those sideguards next...first need to rob a bank quickly..

I guess bashing is all good fun! but I like to make my cars better and if I can do that without buying off the shelf stuff then I will, thats what makes Large Scale better than the rest, is easier to make stuff for them!

Speaking of the side covers, How the heck do you get the right side (2) nuts off that are obstructed by the drive gear shield?? I was thinking I may have to heat and bend one of my spin tight's (spin tight=screw diver with hex end)...

RE: fs racing 4wd?
get a long nose pliers and try hook it, thats another reason the stock ones are rubbish..even the mount at the gas tank is a headache..
