FG MT 4x4 video request in dirt/sand please
I am looking for a video of how the FG MT with a 4x4 conversion works in dirt or sand. The big boys site that sells this kit only has vids of it on grass which IMO looks like 2wd would be fine. Any help finding a vid.
Thanks.

Then go to videos. They are kind of fuzzy, but they are in the sand...

I still cant get the big boys and hobbies dirt video to even load. But this is the first I have seen about the Kimitiro and its design is very much differnt in how it picks up the drive for the frt wheels and looks good too. I like how its chain is less intrusive to the whole machine.
Any more vids out there.
Thanks.

The Kamitro is the exact same drive in theory, chain driven from the rear to drive the front.

Only it's half the price and doesn't require to swap out so much of the car.

The quality looks nothing like the kit that Big Boys Toys sells, I wonder who makes that kit, any one know.

Boy does the time fly. I made that video in 2006. Me and my white/bleach hair.
Not sure about the exposed chain in the Kamitiro kit. I would like to hear from someone who has already installed it.
I know our kits work pretty good. To answer your ? the kit is made by Heiss Tuning in Austria.

Saw that in a couple places too, hmmmmm Looks good, but I'll let someone else try it out before I buy. Would be great for a smashed front end but scary to think what could happen if the chain broke or if you smacked it like my Marder came to me

Just thought I'd jump in and let you know..
The only plastic on that kit besides the single 48t gear is the front lower arms.
And we already have upgraded alloy arms in production for upgrading.
These kits are wonderful to install ,simple but very strong ,they are built very well ,I also am very familar with the Heiss tuning kit,,
they too are nice ,but very pricey.
I have installed these kits in 4 MT5's and 1 in a FG Baja,in total ,I was done in 2 hours ,they work very well and again ,anyone can install these kits.
Also ,not to give you the wrong idea about the lower arms ,cause they are very thick and made well ,we just think a set of alloy arms on the kit would be a great upgrade to offer.
Enjoy!

Thats the great thing about these new kits.
They are complete ,except front drive squares and your shocks.
Simple and the price is right.
You also cannot have the kit installed with the stock muffler. any type of after market pipe will work.

$430 plus ship direct from here.... if you know a german dealer or you are a dealer your set
now if the US dollar would just get stronger

RE: FG MT 4x4 video request in dirt/sand please
Just ordered my kit today. It will be here Saturday and I'll be testing by Sunday morning. I just hope I can get my hands on some aluminum for it. A little too much plastic for my taste.
I wonder if I'll be able to keep both steering servos or if the belt will be in the way?
