[X(] looks awesome bud
Ahh, I see you have some new tires. They look great. (I love mine)
Can you take some naked shot? I want to see all that alloy

RE: Selwa's new Supercross-painted!
Thanks!
Haven't started it yet. Just need my pre-filter and 4500mah cells to come so I can make a few packs. I made a pack from various cells just to set the radio but I don't trust it running the buggy. Also just a bit too much snow right now. With it being all aluminum the salt would love it!
Once most of the snow disapears again I'll have it out to break in the engine.

Thanks again. The engine is a Zenoah 26 that was tunned by Effective Tunning.com in Europe. They are no longer around so I'm not sure what was done since I bough the buggy from a friend.

Hi Selwa,
I thought you had given up? Effective tuning didnt do there own tuning, its more likely to be a pitstop motor or someone else's.

Thanks for the info Steve!
As for a shelf queen, it's just new right now. Guys that remember me know when I had my modified Leopard Race, I went bashing with 2 HPI Baja's and came back with 3 lbs of mud in it.

Why you got the old version with the lay down engine and the unprotected shocks at the front?
Was that on purpose?
Nice paint Joe!

I got a very good deal on it. May have saved close to $1000 on it! I'd spend a fair bit if I bought a new one form a shop. This way it's new and had some nice additions on it. You know me, I'm sure I'll add something to it..... front hydros one day.

RE: Selwa's new Supercross-painted!
Yup it was me!
When I quit last year it was so I could get a Hummer H1 which I've always wanted. However some unforseen circumstances came up (very costly ones!) so now I'm have to sell my H1. My friend was selling some of his collection and I couldn't past up the deal for the Supercross.
Much easier to work on these than a H1 too! At least I can say I've owned, driven and worked on a real Hummer!

Not the Hummer, maybe that Monster energy drink sponsorship will pay enough for you to keep it. We need to find a way to make millions with this rc hobby.

Very nice. Looks saaweeeeet. love the shiney alloy. Cant wait to see it after the winter breaks.
[X(][X(][X(][X(][X(][X(] oh man, the H1 is gettin the boot. Well, at least you have a bad-ass buggy again.
I hope you dont mind, I'll be copying some of these shots and sticking them with this one. I saved it way back when.
Hope everything is ok and you get it all squared away.
Later Bud

RE: Selwa's new Supercross-painted!
Thanks TIG. I kept a bunch of my pics from my Leopard. A good friend has it now and I'm sure I'll be seeing it when we bash this year. With more guys having LS now the turn out will be great.
I'm glad to see you like your tires too! I just had to get myself a set of those for this buggy and Rossendale was having a good sale so even with shipping/duty it wasn't too bad.

RE: Selwa's new Supercross-painted!
Painting was easy, just masked the needed areas and used Tamiya gun metal. I was going to have it airbrushed with the Monster logo from a friend but I found an easier way. This decal sheet is sold at motorcross shops. I bought it from bob's cycle supply for $11.99US. With tax and shipping 2 sheets cost me $43.98 so I have some decals left and a full spare sheet left! I f I get bored of the pattern I can always get something else.

The rims match it nicely too!

The Supercross above is mine not Hellya`s. I purchased it from him.Ordered it with a Zen 26,self-locking diff, front hydros and factory paint.
