Rims to DIE for. Ultimate bling...
Just noticed these while surfing around on pitstop-shop.nl . Alloy beadlock (by the look of them) 1/5th touring car wheels. They're pretty pricy at 160E a pair, but they look magnificent. They use FG 18mm wheel square for mounting. Might make great on road Baja fronts for FG adapters. Just had to share with you guys...
I can see these on my MCD drifter one day (the right hand set). [8D]

They look pretty sweet, problem is I would have to put the plastic ones on every time I went bashing lol....Are they resistant to bashing, rocks mud dirt....you know.....good use? Or strictly, hanger queen on road type stuff?[>:]

Well, they're for on road cars, so should only be used on groomed racetracks. I doubt they would still look like that after bashing on the front of a baja, no.
Like I say, really for a drifter, and a perfectly detailed body... I have ideas forming in my mind for an MCD (based) 4wd on-road drifter, with these rims and some interesting pipe routing, so that the exhaust exits the side, where the exhaust exit decal is on the side of the FG M3 GTR body. Wing mirrors, etc... drifters are always semi shelf queens with heavy body detailing and sweet rims.
The nice thing is that it's not difficult to collect 1/5th drift tires very cheaply. When 1/5th on roaders race on the track, the tires get very hot (this is how they generate grip of course) and after a session, they cool and the rubber dries out and becomes very hard. These 'used' race tires will make perfect drift tires. Can you imagine their faces here in the drifting forum... A perfectly detailed BMW M3, working lights, these rims, gas engine, 1/5th... I can see a few jaws hitting the floor. And if I can actually drift it well and get a video, well... That would be nice...

It's for on-road guys. They would only be useful on the front of the baja, and as I say above, FG adapters would be needed. I'm recommending them more for a drifter.
Diablo, it's a lot smaller than the tarmac buster.

I doubt it, 65mm (the width of these rims) is standard touring car width. There are no other widths available as far as I can tell. I can see these winding up on Finest's sportline... He's probably gonna beat me to it. [:@]
