Hi I can get a TQ baja with a 26cc for $740 including shiping in Australia from Oversize RC. The real HPI baja ss will cost me $1500 + shiping. Is it worth it? How much beter is a HPI ss over tha standed baja? I could get a standed for $900.
SS has these upgrades:

Aluminum tuned pipe*, Front and rear sway bars, Modified rear shock tower brace

Heavy duty rear dogbones, Aluminum alloy diff case, VVC/HD shock set

Fuelie 26S engine, Metal gear steering servo, Clear pre-cut body

Heavy duty rear beadlocks, 8000 rpm clutch

Just spend what you want, and if you are happy with the KO, be such

Yeh well i cant get over that with $500 in hop ups surely what else can break? Is it that bad that 70% will need replacing...
Since i think this will be more durable then a hpi stock SS.
KM baja
ss diff
phatdad shock shaft
SS shocks
ramtech front bumper
ramtech front shick tower
lunatik rear shock tower brace
DS m,eaty dogbones
26cc CY engine
x can muffler
jr2 radio with sf-10 metal geared wrvo and a nice throttle servo
Maybe a metal combination pinion and spur gear
upgraded shaft kit
Hostile rear tires on bedlock rims
prefilters
And i have probably forgot a few things atm...
Now seriously i think that would be more strong then a hpi baja ss

Darkfire keep us/me posted how your baja goes...
