POST YOUR 1/5 SCALE F-1 PHOTOS HERE
I would like to dedicate this thread exclusivey to RC 1/5th scale Formula-1 cars from various manufacturers. I know there have been several photos posted on previous threads, but it would be good to rekindle our memories and allow for new entries to be proudly exhibited around the world through this site.

Mine is the basic Sportsline model. Comes with a 26CCM Zenoah engine. The car + Engine cost USD 1300, I already have a radio so a receiver+heavyduty servo+1/4 scale steering servo + receiver Battery +charger cost around $500 and the tuning brake kit cost around $ 140. With paint and all that it would get you around $2000 area.

Yeh, normally they have 2-speeds. Stop talking about them guys, I personally forbid the continuation of this thread, and definitely no more pictures. My credit card is shaking in my wallet, I can feel it.

that looks fantastic, I wish that they were more popular here, some guys had them in our club..but due to lack of competitors the guys ended up selling them..pity I would love to race these , although I really wouldn't want to have a prang with one of these..I could see me going through some nose cones/ front wings

Really? I'm sure in the catalogue, one has a 2-speed. Never mind, I'm sure you're right, I really know nothing about the F1 cars, I shouldn't have opened my mouth. [sm=red_smile.gif]

I got started in this hobby in '83 with 1/8 scale on road nitro (we called it gas back then). Anyway it sure was an adrenalin rush racing those cars. Those 1/5 scale F1 cars would be an adrenalin rush racing those too.

WOW, looks familiar!!
I recently added epoxy rotors and aluminum pads. Removed some unsprung weight and looks really cool.

Hello Big Boys Toys and Hobbies, You are welcome to post these on your website. If you send me a quick e-mail, I will reply with some better quality JPEG photos, as you can winess, the photos on this thread have been convoluted and compressed so the quality os not that good. My e-mail address is [email protected]. Thanks for asking.

As far as I know, all 1/5 scale F-1's come with single speed. Didn't know they are available on multiple speed gears. You guys will never regret having one of these babies. THe sheer size and the stylish appearance not to mention the performance. Absolute pride of ownership. DId I convine anyone to open your wallets??
C'mon guys..... Where are the photos?
