14mm hex adapters on baja5b
do these exist has anyone made a set of these ? would anyone else like to install their commonly used nitro monster truck wheels and rims on your baja5b like me , i have a set of jumbo imex rims and tires that i want to put on my baja and cannot find any adapters for it . they made the adapters to fit FG MT wheels on the baja why not make a set of 14 mm hex adapters for it , but im not exactly sure what commonly stock size nitro mt uses they fit on my revo3.3 so what ever size that is lol

the baja will strip a 14mm hex. i kept stripping imex wheels with a brushless 1/10. if u want mt tires fg or redcats with adapters are the way to go.

haha 14mm hex on a Baja! Stock Nitro's using 14mm are known for rounding out the wheels, hate to think how long (or short) wheels will last on a vehicle weighing 2-3 times as much with an engine that pumps out 4 times the power...

RE: 14mm hex adapters on baja5b
so your saying that the FG square adapters made to go on the baja will last a long time , if you reakon the FG adapters made to go on the baja5b with the littlenut to secure on the rim will stay on , especially that mine is pumping out more than 8 HP i will buy those billet FG $400 rims , do you think that it will round out the hole in the rim ?
the problem i used to have when running nitros was that the 14mm hex only rounded when the lock nut came loose and the hex kept spinning in the rim , can the same thing happen on FG rims ? cos if it does ill never buy FG rims for my baja .

Heh, i've seen plenty of 14mm hex's get rounded out when the nut was done up tight, the plastic can sofen and flex thats why HPI put a steel ring around their 24mm hex.
The FG square hubs are a little different, the angle for each corner is more acute (90deg vs 60deg) meaning its harder to strip out, the down side is with a square your limited to a smaller hub, its an apples to oranges comparison but if you go to a small 14mm hex you'll definatly destroy your wheels, especially if your engine is somehow making 8HP.
