Default Battery/Voltage checker Question!

I have had my battery checker in channel 3 for a while now, but i have recently installed a killswitch in channel 3.
Is it ok to share the throttle/brake channel with a battery checker? as i read somewhere you might have problems mixing it with a killswitch!
Thanks
Guy
