The SPLCRAZY super baja5b FINISHED ?
Well its done i hope for now i cant think of anything else to upgrade for now so thats why the title has the question mark lolthis thing has cost me more than $6500.Took some pics and then took it out for a test i just love it , the looks of it , the power , the speed is awsome but its not outrageouse fast cos its built for off road , i went back to using the stock tooth spur gear that is a robinson racing spur but using a heavy duty pinion gear thats 18tooth with a heatsink and it works really well . I did a mod to the rear darksoul axle extenders after being FED UP with snapping screws and doesnt matter what srews i used they always twisted and broke so i CORRECTLY measured the hub from the stock rear hex hubs together with the darksoul hub and drilled a hole straight trough the hub and axle and inserted the solid pin , the rim goes over the hub sealing in the pin, screw on the wheel nut and hey presto no more snapping bolts , before the mod i was snapping the hub bolts in 20mins and now im snapping nothing . i went back to installing my chrome DDM sidemount pipe looks terrific , the pipe really performs when its at proper heat range . SO everything in this is new the entire rear end was re built with brand new parts all over everything is working in proper harmony. THE ENGINE is a trevor simpson crankcase induction engine using race ported ESP 36mm head with stuffed +2mm stroker crank HRS brass zero drag engine seals , lightened flywheel metal starter sprawl , and most of the alloy suspension arms and other are GOLDEN HORIZONS except for the rear lower arms which are ramtechs , the vertigo billet carrier and vertigo vented bell works well except untill you put on the spur mount which cover the hole back up , . TOO MANY other mods for me to write down so ill let the pics expalin for now , if you want to know about anything let me know

i got the rc4wd shocks , complete waste of money , if i was gonna buy shocks again i would asemble my own hybrid shocks lol using the GH cylinders with gh piggy back caps with the inner shafts using the rc4wd shaft kit replacements , then you can get the titanium thick shaft replacements for $20 each . a much better option if you wanna do it yourself and build some shocks properly from scratch , whis is proberly what ill end up doing to this one day

RE: The SPLCRAZY super baja5b FINISHED ?
because i didnt like the design of the rear lower suspension arms that GH made , so i just got the ramtech rear lower arms they only something like a $100 . and yes the uppper rear arm is GH , if you look on the DDM site most parts are very similar and the price differance can be quite a bit like i think the rear upper GH arm is $20 less than the other brand thats $60 and both of them parts are nearly identical so why would you want to spend $20 extra on the more expensive part lol . the GH rear lower arm was cheaper than the ramtech but the GH one looked too PLAIN in design , so in that point i would rather spend more for something that looked better lol .
and the rc4wd shocks are a ripp off for $85 a pop , i didnt do my homework on that one i would have been better off building my own hybrid shock using a bit of every brand lol .

anyway back the the old rc hobby , i like the HBZ chrome rollcage alot more , and im going nuts , i want that TGN pipe but i want one chromed it seems that DDM needs permission from TGN or something , or maybe they want TGN to chrome the pipes themselves , if i dont get a response ill just buy one in RAW and get the damn thing chromed myself , and then i could also do that other pipe mod in chrome aswell instead of painting them
i spent the entire friday after work building it untill i finished it lol i started a 4ishPM and finished at about 1AM as the time and dates are on the pics

SPL, this is a crazy machine!
All that bling....... it needs scratches and to be thrashed now !
Go out and romp around with it !
Also, as to the plastic rollcage, the plastic actualy absorbs the rolls and lateral slams beter than an aluminum would. THere is however a company that makes STEEL rollcages tha are welded.. that would be badd***** on your 'JA [X(]
