Default FG Alloy shocks

Is anyone here using the FG Alloy shocks for either MT`s or ST`s ? FG part number 6481 ?
as im thinking of buying some for my ST .

Looks like you will beat me to it!! I am/was planning this upgrade too.

To be honest, I nearly went all alloy shocks, but then I realised I can just get the alloy pistons with o-rings, and get the same performance for a fraction of the cost. /the problem with the red shocks is the crappy plastic pistons.

yeah i see u can buy the o ringed alloy pistons for the red shocks , but i also hate the black clips that adjustthe spring height .
well i have 4 alloy shocks on the way [ i didnt want to go over my weekly RC spending budget ] as i have a full set of hardened steel suspension pins coming [as the elcon stainless steel ones are like butter and bent too easy ] .

well i recived my 4 alloy shocks , mmmmm so much better then the red standards . ill post pics next week when i buy the other 4 and a heap of diffrent rate springs and other goodies .
