SV in Sun Valley California is designed for both 1:5 scale on-road and it has a big off road track for 1:5 scale but it needs some help to get the facility back up to speed.

They do not have an active web site so its hard to point you there. Most of the 1:5 scale drivers that use the track do not use this forum so its even harder to point you in the right direction. VS Modelsport can really help you here, but they are at the 1:5 scale on-road national championships this week.
SV used to be called Komatsu Zenoah Speedway or KZ for short they held the 1:5 scale world championships in 2003 there. Here is a link to the promo video its very cool,

There are some places that have the off road track photos. Shoot me a PM for more data.

we have a pair of tracks right here in Ramsey Minnesota, one for onroad and one for offroad. The onroad series has been going for a while, just hoping for some offroad activity sometime soon.
I'm reviewing one of the videos of our onroad track... I'll be posting it soon.
UPDATE:
OK the video is clean Our track has the Molzer Mowery guys (Fredrik is crazy I tell you!), So there is quite a bit of competition here. here is the video.

Nice video.
Nice video.
Thanks... most of the focus here in my area is onroad. If there is enough demand for offroad racing at the track, then that tends to pick up a bit.

Hard to get the off road guys to race, some in the industry do what ever they can to keep it from getting going. Why they do this who knows but 99.99999999999% of the large scale dirt guys in the USA do not have the desire to really race. Just one of those things. In Los Angeles we have tried and tried but despite a big great race track they just do not come out to race in the dirt. Bashing is king in the USA.

offroad is popular here in Minnesota, but 1/5 F1 and 1/5 Touring car is dominant over 1/5 offroad racing.
But as you stated... the great majority would rather bash than race em.
i know that if we had an 1/8 mile dirt oval track, we'd have some dirt guys out there in a heartbeat!

RE: 1/5 race track in US?
Check out our site, video of our 'Baja Blast' http://nwnitro*********.com ; second year for this and we had a great time. Here in the NW it is always weather dependant for outdoor tracks but at this VW car show we have access to the large covered arena that we can race in. We get lots of attention........ and have gained quite a few newbies to the 1/5th gas offroad group. We hope to grow this to a bigger event with custom track built etc. but we will need some sponsors to come on board to make it happen.
Locally there is a 'private' outdoor track that one of our customers has built that we can use by invitation that is huge with large banked turns and small jumps which works real well for the 1/5 gas stuff. There is an on road track close to Vancouver, WA: Timezone http://www.timezoneracing.com/
where they have some great racing!
1/5 gas offroad is growing, let's make it happen!
