DDM Rear Dom Mounting info?
Hey all...Just got my rear dominator in the post today but im little confused. It came with 2 gaskets and 1 heatsink type thing now i know how they go on but want i want to know is do i put the gaskets on dry or do i put little oil around them before i fit them?

No oil required would be good to use some loctight on the screws and let it sit for 24hours before you run it.
Keep a eye on the screws... They can get loose overtime.

you supposed to smear some gasket maker on both sides of the gaskets , then with both gaskets put one gasket first on the pipe then that heat sink in the middle then the second gasket infront of the heat sink then screw the bolts on with some medium threadlock if you can be bothered ortherwise just keep checking the bolts tightness from time to time and after running dont overtighten the bolts when the baja has been running when its HOT you could snap the bolts like that or the head , sometimes even when you put loctite on the bolts it still can come loose so every now and then keep checking it

Thanks guys...Didnt have any locktight so i will just keep checking untill i get some. It sounds sweet now cant wait to give it a run.

Just use the gaskets, that is what they are for. Sealant can spread out and get in the way, the only time you would need sealant is if you had a water cooled sytem, for example the intake in your real car that has high preasure.
