did i get a good deal
hi just bought a hpi baja 5b off of ebay for 760.00,plus 45.00 s&h,has only 6 tanks run thru it, and would like to know about how much faster than stock it will go,heres what i got,
28.5cc ported motor
Walbro WT813 carburetor w / modified shaft
Boost Bottle
8,000-rpm heavy-duty clutch
TGN heavy duty springs for front and rear shocks with shock covers
Stage 3 intake kit
Air filter and pull-starter covers
High-speed metal drive gears

You just bought someone else's moneypit. cheap.[sm=bananahead.gif] Thats what these RTR largescale are. Quality does come with a price.
THe cheap price get you comming and the quality comes a knocken at your wallet non stop.

it will be alot faster than stock , i say you got a real good deal and that baja is worth alot more than the price you paid . if you havnt driven a stock baja you will find that a stock baja speed is really disapointing lol no rpms no torque crap speed , i would love to buy a second baja at that price with those mods . if i had to sell my modified baja5b my asking price will be $7000

for a genuine baja(not king motor) you got a good deal, my king motor is bored and stroked to 30.5 cc and is just over 4 hp. Yous should go just over 60 mph easy

Just ask yourself we he sold it????? Look at what he spent and realizie it was a money pit. All RTR largescale are money pits.[
