Baja ss brakes arent working very good

Default Baja ss brakes arent working very good

hello all im failrly new to the 1/5 scale cars as iv been into nitro for years ....i just finished putting together my baja ss and finding the brakes dont work very well at all i double checked my assembely its correct. im using the steering servo that came with the spectrum dx 2.0 radio and also took out the spring at the brake adjustment and replaced it with fuel tubing also checked my linkages and still . the brakes grab and slow the baja down a little but not well. any help would be great thanks

I don't know much about that servo, but I would suspect that it is underpowered for braking such a heavy buggy. [] I paid about $100.00 for a throttle/brake servo to avoid what you are experiencing. Can you adjust the throw of the throttle servo?
