I would run 25:1 some say 32:1 and some say 40:1, it all depends on the oil they use....and that any story itself...they will all tell you too run Klotz, amsoils, yadda, yadda, etc...... What engine do you have? that is the first question......And personally I run amsoil, cause I can buy I locally, I also run Honda HP2(cause I get it for free) oil and I mix those both @ 28:1 myself with my 29 cc head kit and HPI pipe.....

The nearest motorcycle shop I have have two kinds of 2 cycle motor oil.
The HP2 and Castor 927. The HP2 oil is 100% synthetic and the 927 is a blend of castor and synthtic. I haven't heard much of the 927 around here, so should I just go for the HP2 or should I concider the 927 ??? I just got a new Zenoah 23cc engine (G230RC) and I am going to brake it in at a mixture of 25:1 and I want to use a good 2 cycle oil and continue using the same oil through out the life time of the engine. Which of the two oils do you recommend I use???
Thanks
LRR

So, are you saying that HP2 is better than Castor 927 ??? or you just like it better??? I am trying to get as many reviews of both oils.
Thanks,

Thanks for the reply, but I want to use and settle on an oil that I can get at the motorcycle shop near my house. They only carry HP2 and Castor 927. I have been doing some reading and the castor 927 blend has this substance (castor) that creates a film around hot metals parts, therefore protecting the engine further. The price between them is about the same so I may just go for the 927.

The 927 works great in my OBR 34 full mod. Love it.
