differences SQ, KM, and ???
Hi all,
I will be getting tomorow by ups this buggy witch is said to be VTEC manufacturer ( as per site )
http://cgi.cafr.ebay.ca/1-5-Massive-...1%7C240%3A1318
What is it ? KM, SQ or something else? How many manufacturers of clones out there ? Are they all from the same mfg ?
The one that i'll be getting tomorow, don't seem to have the same air-filter as Km ( as per pictures )
Do they have all the same 23cc engines ?
Regards Popsy

RE: differences SQ, KM, and ???
I'm betting SQ as I have been led to believe that all KM's have a purple chassis and the air filter on my KM is a foam filter.

It's a TQ (I think the same as SQ)
Shocks will be super stiff - drill out or replace stock pistons and oil.
Bolts for carb too long, add gasket and foam to air filter (or better yet, replace)
Replace steering washer arms (too short) with hpi stock or upgrade
Stock clutch spring seems super weak, but hav'nt pulled it yet (new ones in the mail)
I think those are the main things so far.
(and I took off the purple in most places, changed the wing)
From what I can tell, the newer KM's are about the same quality as these, but probably assembled better.

I think these look great personally, better looking than the KM but as for quality i've no clue.It really dont make any odds, most people will be hopping them up as per usual and they'll end up as good as any other Baja really once finished, thats if a Baja can ever be finished....

Yep that is true,
Here at local hobby shops that are 1,300.00 and over. Don't forget here right now there is a 1.25 % dollard exchange rate. That is not including taxes etc...
