first real bash

Default first real bash

after all the engine problems
i didnt think this day would come

but it did

1 full days bash about 4 tanks which lasted for ever

what a beast it goes up hills that i would strugel to walk up and at half throttle [8D]

at the end i had a wobbly this a lose that two missing screws and a engine that moves on the chassis.

this has been one of the best days of my RC life


how do you prevent the engine mounts from comming lose or do you check them each fuel up [&:]

Glad to hear you got things ironed out, this BiG stuff is alot of fun when it is working. And you know all about the fixing now. lol

i use blue loctite myself too stop any alloy too alloy parts from unthreading ..
glad you r having a good time ..

yer i am now an expert at taking out the engine

i do use loctite but the screws that came out were in the plastic can they be glued in

is there anything else that i need to get to use the brakes on the front

Another servo - Ace1015, 3 channel radio. I put cable front brakes on mine,

I couldn't justify the hydro's and bashing it in the pits.

i found a used set on ebay £69
i have the spctrum dx3r
and 1 spare 645MG that should do
i dont need to do anything to the wheels then

replace the plastic engine mount with alloy one, this should solve your engine loosening prob

yer ok next mod then
slowly my marder will not be recognisable any more
hidden under all the alloy upgrades there may be some plastic taped to the chassis so i can remember what used to be
new alloy front hubs came today hopefully this will stop the A arm from pulling out on a twisted landing
hydraulic brakes tomorrow



arrr just found out that my berings dont fit in the alloy hubs what do i need to do
it is only a small bit that they dont fit in by
