Nice job there! I noticed some plans there, they were intricate. Did you do all that draftsmanship yourself?

Everything on the car is done by me.Except the cnc jobs of course.I don't have the equipment to do them myself.Of course a picture of the deigning is common.I got it from google images.I want it to mark the beginning of the designing. It is obvious that it isn't even a draw of a car.I used it as a marking point.Except if you are refering to something else.Let me know.If you have any doubts, you can take a look at my 20 pages thread

Oh, I will, I am dying to see what goodies you designed to get your RC going.
Very nice job! Making a home made RC is daunting, and for me, it woudl have taken me much longer than 6 months (I dont have much time unfortunately, and when I do, I'm either out running RCs or here on RCU, so I would wind up procrasternating the wor.)

Thanks Jim!I was planning to do a little weight reduction.Right now it weight 9.7kgs.It has a zenoah g270rc.I was also planning to put a tuned pipe. But from my test drivings i realized that it has way more power than i imagined,I got to learn to drive it a little bit to the edges first!Under different circumstances it would have been 5 months maybe less...But for almost a month and a half my right hand was broken. That slowed me down a bit

it looks amazing. at that weight it should be ballistic. most large scale weigh upwards of 15 kg.i read through the entire thread and i understand you have a new 6061 chasis coming, are you going to try to build a suspension??? i did some research and it seems that it would be very easy for you to build something like a a 1/12 pan car style suspension system.
it would make your car have soooooooo much more grip

Looking veerry much forward to see the body on your car,is it going to be plain white?Or are you going to put stickers on it (exept from the light and grille stickers)?I think it will look very nice in plain white, nice and clean

basically 1/12 scale pan car suspension is cutting the chasis at a certain point, ading a hinge and the connecting the chasis using one or two shocks. it will aid it traction but also it will aid in making it look more ''scale'' when driving. will make it lean etc.
i'd like to help with you with your project so if there is anything you need to ask go ahead. i might be able to provide you with shocks as well....

Lars i'm going to make it pearl whit with no stickers.Maybe one in the upper windscreen saying mercedes and one in the back saying sound in motion.
Rc rock i get it waht you mean.Something like the kyosho mini z s have correct?I was thinking a setup like this:My mad force had solid axles front and rear. The shocks were mounted on the axle and on the chassis.Think that setup reversed. With the axle support above the chassis with 2 or 4 shocks....Send me a pm about the shocks!I'm definately interested after the body purchase

yes, a lot like the mini z...
there is really no need for a separate pm. since i race off-road, i seem to be the only one left without big bore shocks. so if i get big bore shocks for christmas i won't need my current shocks

it's a caster racing zx1-r factory team kit. off road shocks work good on road. especially in your case you get to choose how long you want it to travel. you will probably need to get stiffer springs. what it all comes down to is: a shock is a shock. lol. on road and off road shocks have very litle differences apart from the length...

don't forget you aren't gonna be using an independant suspension like most other large scales......
i'm just trying to help not sell anything \. you could probably get a used set of baja shocks for pretty cheap....
