Default "It's time for a change" - Fg Pajero -Part 1

It's time for a change. I took my Fg Pajero to the desert with my other Rc's and it seems to be not cutting it out there. It's to low, it gets stuck. It can't go over to many different kinds of terrian. [] It just gets beat up in the desert.
So that being said it's time for a change. The Wizard is going to take this Fg Pajero into his workshop, and slowly change over the Fg Pajero to a new Pajero. A Baja FG Pajero ! [X(] I should be posting the new Pajero in a few days, with pics and all so, stay tuned ............

What you got in mind...I reckon some body trimming, ramtech adapters and hpi paddles will be pretty cool for the dunes, ribbed tires on the front too. is this what you have in mind?
i just got a set of paddles for my fgbaja and some dirtbuster fronts, a bit narrow with the ramtech adapters so i'm gonna stack a 9mm fg square on the axle also extend the axle flat spots with my dremel so everything can be snugged down with the grub screws properly.

Looks like you got it down pat with your Fg Baja. Post some pics if you can. Like all my conversions I like to see what works and what doesn't. In doing it one way will the Rc look better but not perform as well or look bad and the change I did make it work out good. I balance everything out. Then when I'm done I test it out rigorously if it doesn't work out then, back to the drawing board. Before I post the Fg Baja Pajero I want to make sure it is desert ready and complete as can be. work all last nite on the conversion, I'm now 60 percent done on it. It is looking super good. Today I will be for the most part doing testing in the mountians then taking the Baja Pajero back to the shop to see what needs to be corrected till it is finalized

UPDATE : I spent a few hours with the Fg Baja Pajero out in the desert and things are looking good. 5 or 6 hours more on it needed to be complete. The FG Baja Pajero should be unveiled tonight. [8D]

I have always been fond of the Pajero body. With the right paint they look amazing. Red is a good base

So, what have you done to it?

Sounds like you're going to need a long travel set up to give you the extra ground clearance.

Is that your H1? That is bad-ass.

I'd like to get the FG pajero body too but I can't seem to find any much info on it. Whats the measurements on this body(lenght, width, and wheelbase)? Also how thick is the lexan?
I see pics of it online painted but does it come with the decals etc?
Any update on the desert pajero?

This a year old thread dude. Why don't you make your own thread to ask this question?

Yeah there is in some other thread. There was this huge contriversy about it because he claimed he developed his own engine which makes his pajero go incredibly fast.

The OP has been posting around recently, but I expect he has avoided posting to this topic, as I would hope he would. As Darkfire said, there was some controversy. He claimed a wild engine and insane speeds, but was unwilling or unable to prove it, so was told (by me) not to bring it up again, for his sake and mine.

Don't take it personally, but I'm gonna close this topic now for that reason, thanks for the reminder Darkfire, I had almost forgotten about this.

Honestly, go ahead and start your own thread for whatever you want to know.
