I built this 1/4 scale buggy for $250 with leftover parts lying around in my spare time.

brsman14:From now on i choose not to believe you with your project. You are never going to put out some more or larger pics anyway! If you do so,i'll maybe change my mind.

dsales:For my FG i made some kind of hop upsI made som braces for my shocktowers, which i mated with the screws for the dampers, and also for the balljoints on the rear chassi where the control arms are fastened.I made some for the rear tower too,but i dont have any pics of it.Between the front shocktowers and the bulkhead i made a brace to stop it from flexing when i used the brakes, then i had to replace the first version of the shocktower brace with a V-shaped to make room for the brace between the tower and the bulkhead.

Take a look on the net or in a catalogue for your car,you will find a lot of hop up parts you can make yourself,or even invent yourself

I don't believe U either. You project is not as you claim "Homemade."[] Buying Fg parts and slaping them on a plate is not homemade. I started from nothing and made everything except the motor and 3 sprockets, chain ,nuts and bolts ,tires and wheels and bearings. If my project is not as claimed Prove IT!!!!.

Here are some parts I made for my MCD's
Tank supports

Front bumper

Rear bumper

All of this cost me about $5.00 and a few hours labor.

One thing to do for your baja is the quick release mod for your rollcage. Just cut the back side of the roll cage and slide over some steel tubing. I dont have any pics but you can see it on the HPI baja forum.

Received my bumpers/gaurds made by clubin, very happy and only took 4 working days to arrive from Canada.

Any marks are my greasy mitts as they are so polished.
Great job clubin, many thanks.
