What is teh advantage of mounting PI rims onto the MCD? If you want HPI tires on an MCD (or other non-HP RC), wouldnt it be better to simply buy teh HPI tires and mount them to rims that would fit an MCD?

imex sells wheel and tire only for $80pr. xrc sells the same for 45$pr. and fs doesn't have them yet. nobody sells wheels and tire separate.

That sucks. So, for the beadlock you have on your smartech, you have to buy the whole wheel set and you just cannot unbolt your worn tires and slap on new ones.
The tire makers for 5th scales need to get on teh ball and offer tires separate of rims. Even if someone is going to glue them on anyways, he might dislike the rims that come with teh tires and want a different style rim.

HPI, Proline and Hostile sell tires seperate of the rim, and they are all beadlocks. You can now get 32 different tires and compounds from street to paddles. That is why everyone is making adapters to fit HPI rims onto other vehicles.

That is what I though. Considering how expensive 5th scale tires and rims are, and especially when most of us keep the rims (if tehy are still servicable) and simply prefer to slap on new tires after ripping off the old ones.
