Either of teh two would be great, you will see a marked performance over the stock canister-box like exhaust system.

I know the DDM Dom is great, It really does a great job scavanging and providing return pulses at higher RPMS (the mid range) where the box-canisters, well, dont do as well at any RPM range.

I havent tried the JetPro, but there are many who have used it and will swear their lives on it.

Personally, I would go for teh rear pipe, and I am not sure if mods are needed.

From teh looks of a 5T, I think it would require mods as teh body and the rear part of the roll cage might get in the way.

I personally have not put such pipes on a 5T, I was thinking of the 5B as far as chassis and structural clearances.

i have a side dom on my t, it fits with no problems. the only thing you need to do is, drill a hole in the rock guard and run a hose from the stinger to the bottom of the truck. you don't want the exhaust going inside. i use about a 4 inch peice of hose, and i've noticed no proformance losts from adding the hose

the rear dom fits the same way but all you have to do is make a small hole in the body and you can use a piece of hose or a silencer to keep the exhaust from staying underneath the body. you don't have to run the hose through the bottom of the car that way.

or you could get one of the 90 degree bend things and it would eliminate the need to cut the body. i don't know if a 90 degree bend will help performance.

How is the Aluminum Tuned Pipe that comes with the SS kit? I am sure there are better pipes but I am hopping to get a Baja SS kit before the month is out so I can get in on the rebate.

The alum pipe is definitely a step up from the box-canister muffler. The HPI little ram horn does actually function as an expanding chamber tuned pipe and thus allows the engine to run much better than the box-mufflers.

The much much larger tuned pipes with their massive expansion chambers are probably the best pipes for these engines. The JetPro, LunaTik, GBE, TGN, DDM, and so forth are going to give you teh best performance even over teh HPI's tiny little ram horn tuned pipe. The only difference is that the tiny ram horn HPI pipe will fit under the shell with no cutting or mods required.

the stock can for the 5t has better performance than the hpi tuned pipe, and its mountains quieter.
