hello all
i have recently picked up the fs racing buggy used.
not a bad unit but i found that the rear drive shaft is bent about 1/8 of an inch and also the center diff support screw ahs stripped. that being said i wouldike to upgrade these parts with allow units made for mcd, i know that jofer makes some stuff as well as vertigo, so will all fit or do i have to becareful? i was told that the maingear and layshaft support would not fit but how bout the servo tray and the center diff supports?

i have a baja 1000 clone i have been upgrading with select mcd parts.i have not tried to change the servo tray. i do know that the gears on the gear tower are not interchangable with mcd they mount differently. but you can change the whole assy. and put mcd gears on. im also getting ready to try mcd's radio box and i have plans to switch to an mcd servo tray. im just waiting on my buddy to buy the jofer upgrade kit for his mcd. i love hand me downs! a few of us are getting ready to terrorize our local city park if he brings his mcd i will check them out to see if they look interchangable.

Here are some pics of the MCD center diff supports installed in my FS on road car. I will be redoing the whole car very soon. Ever since that curb jumped out in front of me the car has been sitting on the shelf. I was going to straighten the chassis but decided to make a thicker one based on an MCD chassis. The chassis is done just waiting on a few parts and then I will see if everything fits on the new chassis. I will post up some pics of the re-build when I am done.
