I found a while back, a guy that makes some 1/4 scale trucks. Price is right at New Era's monster trucks. These look amazing, and I think the quality looks pretty good. Look up Team Cannon, the site is http://team4monsters.freehosting.net. They have a few trucks for sale on the ever ready auction site, but there are a few pics and info on the site as well. Not tryin to give them a plug, just sayin, the guy had given me some advice back in the day, so I wan to return the favor.

the buggy in that picture is the same model that bsrman14 has in his stamp sized picture. just take off the body and roll cage and it would look just bsrman's buggy.

Speedy.D : That Is a sweet car. To bad they can't be bought anymore. I might even use some of the parts if I knew how to get them and the specs.
But somethings just work out I guess, huh speedy.

After much careful study of the 2 pictures side by side I would offer that apart from the addition of an attached thin nerf bar to the side of the chassis the cars are identical.

It's a shame that 1/4 scale died off, I guess it was too expensive for too many...me included... just not enough rich folks that were into rc's guess they were into playing polo or something instead

Considering that I spent more from my FG, I dont think this New Era 4th scale is far from unreasonably priced.

Simple construction, but made structurally rigid with the aid of the roll cage, moreover, the trailing arm sustepnsion is akin to that of a motorcross rear suspension arm of a dirt bike, so that alone on all 4 wheels should give at least some feel of MX like racing wghen going over bumps and stuff.

The trailing arm are made out of steel. I don't know how many were made.

Hi Guys,
I know New Era isn't manufacturing much these days (even though all the stuff is on the website)
I reversed some of the images.

The NEM platform looks very familiar to another well known vehicle we've seen here.................you be the Judge[>:]
