Default new engine for my fs racing mt

Hello everyone, I have an fs racing monster truck and I wanted to put in a more powerful engine. It has a 30cc engine in it, but the thing is not that powerful. What is a powerful engine that would fit right into my truck? Also what is a good steering servo for this truck, the stock one is just not enough for my liking.

IS it the CY 30.5cc engine? That engins should give you crazy torque at the pull of the trigger, I mean like wheely pulling torque.

If you want more power, a good pipe, like a Jetpro or Dominator or Gabe Brown would also pull out lots of power. If you want even more power, the only way to go is get a modded engine, but those are not cheap, about $400 USD to easily well over $1000 for a ported and highly modded power machine.

I here ya I had the same motor in my FS buggy....any of the cy or zenoah 23-30cc engines will fit into the MT.......zenoahs are better quality

heres a link where to get the motors http://www.davesmotors.com/s.nl/c.88...egory.27895/.f about a $50 diff between the CY and zenoah

Thanks guys, I got a message back from Davesmotors.com about the cy28.5 with 3.5hp. After I get that I think I will get a new pipe for it. Will the upgrade fs pipe be good enough for it?

Are you looking for more speed over torque? The smaller engines with the shorter stroke will have more top and speed. Yes the 28.5 will have more top end over the 30.5 but the 30.5 will have more torque.

I wouldn't mind a bit of both, because the 30 that is in it is just not fast enough

the fs "30" is not really a 30cc engine , go with a cy.
