how will u know if your e buying a used km baja or hpi baja?
how can u figure out if youre getting a clone or the orig hpi?are there any parts u need to check out aside from the engine?

the only difference is the chemical makeup of the plastic and the stock engine. The KMs have a shiney gloss to the plastic, hpi bajs have a flat black plastic
The engine on the km won't have the CY sticker, the bajas CY does
left baja SS................right KM

man thats tough looking at the pix only u cant tell if the guy is selling a hpi or km..are those yours?how do u like the km?

buying a used Baja you never know what your getting.....someone could have bought a clone and then added some hpi hopups from the aftermarket manufacturers ...the buyer will never know.
Since all of the hpi hopups and stock parts work on the KM baja.....the only way to make sure your getting an original is to buy new or from a good friend

I think someone on ebay is selling a KM as an HPI..
I asked him a question about the buggy and he gave a wiered answer.

yea thats the thing im worried about ..but sometimes u see a real hopped up one thats hard to pass..still not sure if ill go with the 5b or redcat tt..i have the 5t already but i want a buggy ,4wd is a good selling point on the tt againts the 5b..i just dont want to buy a buggy and will hear a lot of negative comments about it.like y did u buy a pos or somthing like that..

Are you talking about the KM?
They are great for the money. The money you save can be used for hopups, like a bigger motor and a good pipe.... etc
