Does anyone think it's a "good" idea to use a futaba 6ex on a baja 5b ?
Please give me positive and negative answers i would like to know more about this using these radio's on rc cars.

RE: Baja 5b radio
i think its a 2.4, correct? should be fine, but you are going to have to get used to the wably throttle as the stick throttle goes to the left and righ as well.. is that what you have or is that what you are buying.. if you have it great, if thats what you want to buy for this application then there are more sutable radio's

RE: Baja 5b radio
Well two considerations basically.
If you are okay with using a stick radio and are rather adpet in driving a ground RC with stick, then that is not a bad radio
The other consideration is your laws of your land. In the US, air radios are not meant to be used for ground RCs and likewise ground radios are not to be used for air RCs. The reason is if someone is on an ar channel and someone else comes in and hijacks his airplane, that is a very dangerous situation. But since this particular Futaba is 2.4GHz, that danger is moot. (Likewise, I think the US FCC is relaxing this issue since 2,4GHz CANNOT every hijack another RC). For your purposes, check what UAE laws are and make sure you are in compliance. If UAE laws are cool with using air 2.4GHz channels for ground RCs, then go for it.
