i've read that pipe tends to break, because the rear of the chassis flexes. that aluminum rollcage would help. i've been thinking of buying one or making one.

yeah, these are pretty much crap. if you need a good pipe get a jet-pro or a 77 DOM rear exit they are baaaaadddd!!!!

you mean its new for you? that pipes been out for a while. it cracks at the header. not couse of flex but becouse its just bad quality. the alum role cage doesnt help with flex. just looks nice. but they too crack as you can see in the pic one side has already been replaced. i have one on my mt. it looks really nice but it also cracked. fixed it with jb weld and its been fine

All expanding chamber tuned pipes of our RCs are designed to do that. It just depends on which bandwidth they begin to this.

For this pipe, what RPM bandwidth does this one start to do its thing?

The aluminum redcat cage works no better than the plastic one for stopping chassis flex, I made this one and it stops flex pretty good...next one will be a full cage from 4130 when I get off my lazy butt and get busy
