MCD Vs HPI ??'s (Jumping ability)
Have narrowed my new purchase to 1 of 3 vehicles:
1) HPI Baja 5b SS with 28.5cc and jetpro v3
2) HPI Baja 5T with 28.5cc and jetpro v3
3) MCD Baja 1000 Ultimate 28.5
I currently own a MCD Proline Race Runner in which is a great vehicle but has always been nose heavy on any jumping action. So I am basically curious if the new MCD ultimate suspension set up handles jumps better than the older versions? Do the HPI's handle jumps better than MCD's? Obviously the MCD 4wd has carving/gripping advantages over the 2wd HPI but im curious which handles jumps better?

Baja will probably jump better, because they are lighter & they have a longer suspensions, but from all other aspects you can’t really compare the cars: MCD is 4WD, the ultimate version is all alloy! the price is several times higher…

I agree with Clubin ...MCD's don't bash well because they are not very durable..i love the fact that it is 4wd and very easy to work on
and on the track it will perform well but on a bumpy surface it will break parts.
The Baja 5T is a great basher as well as jumper and does not break parts that easy at all.... just to let you know i have both.[8D]
