Default new item for the 5B what do you think

check this out a new alloy built body for the 5b , its something ive been wanting to appear ever since the 5b was made, but would like to read your opinions on it . i love how its been painted and would like the same , but for now it looks like they come in raw only , or at least if i get one i could polish it up . http://www.davesmotors.com/s.nl/c.88...t.A/id.6126/.f

I Like it!! ... Definitely looks different and rough! Gives a whole new look to the buggy. With that said us 5T owners need something extreme like that

if it was for sale as its painted in the pic i would buy it in a second , or i would have to send it to someone to get air brushed and pay extra , other than that i can only polish it myself , but hell yeah i want it in black paint job

They have room to get your hand or fingers in to get to the pull start...

Aluminium can be chromed, or you can polish it to look chrome but it will dull off as it oxidises.

Yes it can be chromed but it will seperate if it gets wet often, i think its called galvanic corrosion, the two different metals react and the aluminium oxidises forcing the chrome off the aluminium. Its a common problem with cars and motorbikes when they chrome alloy parts.
