Default changing the brakes on my FS racing MT

Just noticed that my brakes are no longer as quick as they used to be. I wanted to either tighten them or change them, but I am not sure what I have to remove to get at the brakes on the FS Racing monster truck. Also, is the a disc brake system out there for the FS MT or can one be fitted to work on the FS MT? I desperately need more stopping power for my beast.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Are you asking about Shengi? FG racing or another clone? Are you asking about rear brake?

Have you tried adjusting the rear brakes by collets on the brake rod?

I'm not sure about the correct terminolgy for these bits but here goes.

The bar that runs from the accelerator/brake servo ,to the braking cam, which operates the brakes, should have a piece of soft tube on it then a locking ring/collet sort of arrangement right at the end of it, at the rear of the car?

I'd take a pic to show you but my batteries are flat.
