Stihl, 2stroke oil?
Well people,
finally got my baja built again, hoping to get out and run it tomorrow,
i have a fresh 1 litre of 2stroke oil made by stihl,
has anyone used this brand of oil on their rc engine, is this brand of oil alright to run on my new cy26?

that oil is okay , but a little too thick in my opinion and you might not experience the enjoyment of full insane high revs with that oil , but it will provide better protection

RE: Stihl, 2stroke oil?
i use what dirt bike riders use on their 2strokes for their motorbikes , its called castrol syntetic for high reving engines and motorbikes its worth $30 for one litre, i used to use klotz but it was causing a hard baked on crust on the top of the piston . so now i just keep using castrol it keeps the internals nice and shiny and clean

I use nothing but castrol fully synthetic on my 1/1 cars, its quality stuff but pricey at £50.00 per 4 litres,
i have just come in from running the first tank through the cy26 with the sthil oil and it ran great,
sthil oil only cost £8.50 per litre,
have not started to tune it yet but if i feel it is holding back some i will get the castrol 2stroke oil
thanks splcrazy[sm=thumbup.gif]
