Default Tuned pipe for the KRD/SKOPOD 62cc Baja conversion

http://www.davesmotors.com/s.nl/c.88...t.A/id.6938/.f

There's the pipe we've been waiting for, anyone give the whole setup a try yet? The engine and conversion kit seem to only be available at TGN.

No thanks, I'd rather buy a whole nother RTR HPI T. I have never had any complaints about the power. A good pipe. and aported cylinder do wonders. Not for me anyway.

Whats with the 325 dollar price tag for the conversion kit? Who are these guys kidding? I know its not Daves fault over at DDM but the guys who make them. 325 bucks for 4 peices of aluminum and a coat hanger cut with a spring? (I know its not really a coat hanger).

I wish I was a baller, I would like to get this motor combo but then I would have to get a better trans, better dogbones, etc.

My rant is over, I was just amazed at the prices.

Yeah the stuff is really expensive. I'm interested but I'd want to hear from a few more people who have used it first. The few videos I have seen have been quite impressive though.

I found the videos to be quite disappointing, especially for the price. For the price of a new 5t and some upgrades, it better be pushing alot more power than what ive seen. It seems like they are deliberately marking up the kits to make it some kind of "exclusive 60cc click" I wanted a few of the pieces of the kit to slap one on one of my rampages, after seeing the price of the mounts, I will pass. Besides, in all honesty someone will copy them and sell then for 1/3 of the price before long anyways.

Why don't people just but a 60cc scooter tuned pipe for the thing?

dosent there come a point in where more power is pointless? i mean i have a stock 26cc cy engine with a ddm v2 silenced pipe and it have to make a pretty substancial effort to not just to doughnuts on any surface other then concrete.
I can understand if you just run in the dunes or up and down the street but i would think you would never really get to fully utilize an engine that big on any other type of surface.

Yeah, overkill and all, but at the end of the day, it would definitely be cool to have one...

I have solved the problem with the pipe to the KRD / Skopod 5b, with this solution as I have done, I got to use KRD 5T pipe, which can now be applied to 5b without any problems: D
