I need help spending money!!
Ok, so I was going to buy an FG MT5 but it got sold out from under me so it is time to mod the 5b instead. Right now I have the HPI upgraded pipe, new Proline bowtie tires and upgraded HPI steering servo. I just ordered a new ring for the 23cc motor that is in it. I will have about $900 to spend. I for sure need a new radio system, I have a FAAST receiver at home, which one do you guys recommend? I want telemetry. 3pk maybe? I think I am going to do a big bore kit, not sure if I should do a top end kit or just drop in a new motor. I am pretty mechanically inclined, I have a 2 stroke dirtbike right now that I work on a lot and I work at a motorcycle shop if I have any issues. Will a new pipe help me a lot more or should I just keep the HPI one? What else are some good upgrades? Maybe axle extensions to widen it out a bit? I want performance upgrades, but some cosmetic is ok too. How are the big bore shocks? I have the 8000 rpm clutch, just not installed. I want the best bang for the buck stuff. I plan to bash with a lot of people and hopefully race if I can find some decent clubs around here.

RE: I need help spending money!!
This one looks like a good deal to me. I really like the VRC exhaust. Which do you guys like best?

I was told the CY 29cc kits aren't very good? DDM has a VRC on clearance and this motor... Could be a good deal.. I want high output. I am guessing I will need new rear axles?

Are these all over $1,000? That would be really nice. I only have $900 to spend.. keep it in mind.

I was thinking pretty much that. A top end kit with a crank, upgraded clutch, dx3s and vrc pipe, axle extenders and that's about it. Unless I find a used modified baja that I can get for a decent price then sell mine. I have been keeping my eyes open...

There are a lot of good deals on ebay right now that I am considering so we will see. Some of the mods people have done make me want more mods. I wish I had $3k to spend in upgrades lol. Since I don't I may just buy one that has tons of upgrades.
