Here it is. Its a 1/4 scale Jeron Quarterscale classics Masserati. Jeron built 6 different models and this is one example. Working tach, steering is hooked to linkage, Quick change rear. Authentic wheels and tires, hydraulic brakes, the list goes on. These cars originally sold in the 10-40k range in the late 80's!!!

The contents of your website just about bring tears to my eyes! I cannot believe in this day and age, why nobody is making realistic bodies for fifth scale. Sure it might be a Baja underneath, but those classic lines (Ferrari 330 P4, Cobra Daytona, Ford GT40 etc) are so awesome, while equally there are a huge range of LeMans cars, WRC rally cars, GT F1, Indy cars etc etc which would be fantastic if someone would just make them...

these were built in the 80's... really the only option then. Actually, i dont even think you could squeeze in one of todays weedwacker engines in it. The engine compartment is too narrow. The testarossa and GTO were to have a running v12 engine. Hence the 40k price tag.... (at the time.)

That's beautiful. 10-40k, that's impressive. You rarely see some really high end RC boats and planes push $20k these days, but $40k is crazy, especially 30 years ago.
