RE: my current project: Hotrod 1:3,5 with pocked Quad engine
Thank you!! Yes the wedding took me too much time,so now it's done and let's go back to work. Yes, unfortunately I have to wait to get the walbro carb to see the clearance for the center mounted mountain bike shock or some FG shocks on a bracket. This frame is my first and I guess the only one made like this. But without fenders the front end is visible that's why i've made it like this way to match as close as posible on the real one. Next frame must be a daily driver .With the engine mount in the rear of the car ,there is plenty of space left due of the scale. So for this car I should make a scale interior. The tonegawa Servo is placed behind the fake engine under the fake tranny.I've just weld the brackets a couple minutes ago during the putty on the body is hardening. Ok after a good german beer () I will continue!!

That is one cool ride.
If you want to kill off some rotating mass, drill out the extra meat from the sprokets to lighten them up. I had 20T industrial sprocket weighed 140 grams, after machining it's 54 grams.

RE: my current project: Hotrod 1:3,5 with pocked Quad engine
Due a Job change in the past months i wasn't able to continue to work on my project, so up next week I'll have more time to work on it more than in the past. I always want to share that built with all of you and many people from sevral forums, so I've decided to do it on Facebook . This too to put me under some pressure to work more and faster. My boss allows me to spend a few minutes to put the news on Facebook but not to spend to much time on all other forums. Thank you for your understanding

Hello!
What I wanted to ask you:
Where did you get all the exact dimensions from?
Do you even have original plans of this ´32 Ford Hotrod?
It would be very interesting for me to know that.
And here is the link to my own project:
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1444070
I´m not familiar with facebook.
Would you prefer to chat here, on rcgroups or per email?

What a pity this was discontinued.
I love that ´32 Ford Hotrod!
I´m still interested in using some/many of the ideas provided here for my own 1/3 ´34 Ford 3-Window Coupe!
