1:5 Titan Differential problem!!
Hi guys,
I'm in need of your help. I have a 1:5 Smartech Titan, thats having problems.
My central differential is slippping. I am fairly new to this hobby, especially the large scale, or at least i think thats the problem. Basicaly the when i hit the throttle, the car barely moves, What could be the cause of that. the only things i imagine it could be the clutch or center differential. I already took apart the center differential. There is grease in there, and when i try to spin it by hand everything seems to work fine.

the grub screws on the centre shaft drive cups can also back out and the cup then spins freely on the pinion shaft

also check your wheel hubs too!!!! there are set screws EVERY WHERE on the large scale trucks. you will want to atleast put BLUE locktite on all of them so that way you dont have any more issues. i had a set screw "gub screw" come loose on one of my drive squares "wheel hub" which cased my truck not to move.

+1 to that..happened on my nutech MT on my last outing...the grub screws are stainless and too soft...i'd replaced them all with grade 8 ones but didn't have enough for the last square and suddenly i had no drive..
