"Spy Pics" What could this be ??
I got this from Largescalerc, spy pics of a 1/5 scale. What could it be ???
I suspect it's a 4wd model
Could it be a EVO 4 Edition of a MCD Baja 1000 ?
Here below is a MCD EVO 3 Baja - the pics of the 2 Rc's are kinda, sorta the same. I could be wrong but I think the spy photo Rc is a MCD EVO 4 Baja 1000.
Next week, should know what this new 1/5 scale model is.

RE:
new HSP buggy...only thing about this one is it actually says in the blurb...light duty buggy[&:] that doesn't inspire much confidence.....however I've seen pics with the shell off and it's layout is pretty good...time will tell how it holds up on a track
the new MCD body under all that tape looks just like the nutech sandstorm body

RE: RE:
or at 3am in my yard
I run with a few other guys, so there is PLENTY of noise for me.
When I first saw the thread on HBF I thought LargescaleRC had picked up Nutech as well. Hehe
It does look like the Sandstorm.

RE: RE:
Here is what it is.
http://www.largescalerc.com/MCDV4SC5...urseTruck.aspx
This is the MCD V4 SC5 Short Course Truck. MCD Performance is second to none offering the best in all these areas: Shaft driven 4X4 system, superior suspension with Big Bore shocks, perfect weight distribution, and high quality components. MCD offers only the best in the upper end of radio controlled vehicles.

RE: RE:
The body is the obvious difference. With the V4 Baja1000 not available & MCD working on a new Cheetah, we figured the Baja1000 enthusiasts would be looking for an option. This is where the SC5 come from. Not to mention that Short Course R/C is sweeping the nation, but it is, & this model would be a huge success in 1/5 scale short course racing.
