what i posted is a 2:1 gear reduction transmission for industrial applications i was thinking to use it as a central differential um i did quite a bit of googling but really couldn't find much in the terms of pricing

The axle is offset, but can be moved, cut or adjusted, it is 24 inches long at the moment.

hmmm, wonder if the wife would notice if i pulled the drive outta our self propelled (yep she cuts the front lawn bless her I prefer the ridem so i can drink beer as i cut)

i like the pinion off set as it would be way better for my centre shaft angles.. time to do some scavenging at the local lawnmower repair place

TORO makes a similar one... You may want to replace the axle bushings with bearings though!!

If you wanna run HP you need a Skellenger, even better would be the New Era versions, they are much stronger, or you can stop beating around the bush and grab yourself the best quick change rear you can find....

http://www.rcburnout.com/1-4-scale-m...-rear-t544.htm

Bob Smith out of NY makes these indestructible master pieces.....

So the original post was for a gear box for a project, I think the toro's or anything similar would be fine, otherwise take your pick from what I listed above depending on how much power your gonna run.
