Are you sure it's hitting the filter? Mine was sticking in the sleave so I greased it and worked great after that.

its definately doing something but i have been told that the best thing to do is make a new one out of the fg throttle linkage but was lookin for a few pics to have a look

So if someone tells you to use the FG linkage .. just make your own then , it will be alot cheaper and can even grab a few Thousands of a inch thicker rod to help with flexing also .. use aviation linkage at your LHS

Good Luck m8

Hi Whizzy,

I had some stiction problems with mine when I first set up mine, and it was because the slide on the throttle arm was not horizontal, so when freshly oiled it was fine, but within a few minutes of running it would start to stick.

My solution was to fit a spacer between the servo arm and the slider, no problems since.

What filter are you using, I've got the MCD one with a D&D pre filter, and whilst the linkage is close, it's never caught up.

I'll post a piccy later :D

hi iow basher in using n rn tuning filter with prefilter cover just rick at rossendale said he had to do a mod on his and has no problems with it sinceandd said he used the fg stuff to do it

That makes sense, as the RN filter is wider than the MCD one.

Here's a pic of mine to show the spacer.

hi iow basher i did the mod on sunday using the fg stuff works a treat and for a mere £5 each i think it was worth it although i already had the stuff here to do it and when the mcd one was removed i felt it sticking so hope that resolves the problem
